LEWIS FAMILY FOUNDATION AT A GLANCE
Our family envisions a world where all people focus on serving one another and building community. We are dedicated to creating a more humanitarian society. We know that each individual’s quality of life is connected to the well-being of the community. We are committed to the well being of society in general. We are committed to enriching the lives of children, veterans and athletes through direct investment. We strive to have the greatest possible impact with all of our assets.
Our foundation logo is eight hands all in a circle together representing one hand for each member of the family - like you would see in a sports huddle. Every family member has one hand in the team huddle focused on supporting their family and team’s mission. The other hand extended out to give support to the community around them and accepting the support of others. Every member of the family provides value and contributes to the success of the foundation.
THE LEWIS FAMILY
Jeff and Jill Lewis are parents to six dynamic and amazing children. Jeff is the former President, CEO and Founder of VERTICOM in Dallas Texas. Jill is a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader who now focuses her time on being a dedicated wife, mother and foundation partner. The Lewis’ founded The Lewis Family Foundation to inspire a family legacy of giving and supporting the community through action and philanthropy.
Merging Vets and Players was designed to address the challenge of our nation’s combat veterans struggling to transition their abilities toward a new mission, and ensure that all of our nation's warriors can be as productive off the field as they were on it. By merging vets and former professional athletes, these warriors can share each other's strength and experience, and can support each other in building fulfilling lives of service and strength.
